I think the media has an obligation to keep anonymous sources anonymous! If this reporter is forced to break confidentiality it would make all future informants worried about what they say. I've anonymously told reporters things before. After this story I'm not sure I would feel safe doing so. This could just be me being paranoid. I don't think the fact that people were killed makes a difference. They're already dead, her source can't bring them back. Here's a link to the story.

Hey bro, you picture seems to be borked. However, I agree with what you said. I might not be an informant like you claim to be, but it's called anonymous for a reason.
